Real randomness

Every character is drawn using the browser's Web Crypto API — the same technology used in security applications, not a plain pseudo-random generator.

You control the composition

Choose the length and which character types are included (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols). More variety means harder to crack.

Strength calculated live

The strength bar estimates password entropy from length and character variety, showing whether it's weak, medium or strong.

Security tips

  • Use a unique password for every service — reusing the same password in multiple places is today's biggest security risk.
  • Prefer passwords with at least 12 characters and all four character types checked — that alone raises the strength considerably.
  • Avoid passwords based on dates, names or dictionary words, even with numbers at the end — those are the first things any attack tries.
  • Keep your passwords in a dedicated password manager, not in notes, spreadsheets or saved messages.
