Why it's safe

End-to-end encryption with temporary storage in Redis. Not even BRWORKS can read what you share.

Encrypted in your browser

The text is encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before it ever leaves your computer. The decryption key is never sent to our server.

Stored only temporarily

We only keep the already-encrypted content in Redis, with automatic expiration (1 hour to 7 days). If no one opens it, it disappears on its own.

Not even we can see it

The key only lives in the link, in the URL fragment (after the #), which never reaches the server. Without the full link, the content is just encrypted noise.

Destroyed after reading

As soon as someone opens the link, the content is deleted from the database instantly — a single read, with no chance to open it again.

Security tips

  • For very sensitive data (critical system passwords, production keys), use the extra password in "More options".
  • Share the password through a channel different from the link — e.g. send the link by email and the password by WhatsApp.
  • The link only works once. If you need to share the same content with more than one person, generate a separate link for each.
  • Choose the shortest expiration time that makes sense — the less time the link exists, the lower the risk.
  • Once revealed, the content is no longer protected — avoid leaving it saved in insecure places.
