How the generator works, in practice

Link, WhatsApp, Wi-Fi or Pix

Why use this QR Code generator

Everything happens in your browser — nothing is sent or stored on any server.

Multiple content types in one place

Link or plain text, a WhatsApp contact with a ready-made message, or Wi-Fi network credentials — no need for separate tools.

Everything generated in your browser

The QR Code is built locally, on the spot. No data — not even a Wi-Fi password — is ever sent to or stored on any server, not even by BRWORKS.

PNG or SVG

Download as PNG (ready to use right away) or SVG (vector, stays crisp at any print size, from a business card to a banner).

Free and unlimited

Generate as many QR codes as you need, with no watermark and no login required.

QR Code for a link or text

Turn any link into a QR Code — paste your website, digital menu, Instagram profile, or form URL and the code is ready to scan. It also works for plain text (a note, an address, an event password), no link required.

QR Code for WhatsApp

A WhatsApp QR Code opens a chat directly with your number, with a pre-filled message if you want one. Great for a storefront, business card, or packaging — whoever scans it starts chatting right away, no need to save your contact first.

Wi-Fi QR Code

A Wi-Fi QR Code lets any guest join your network without asking for (or reading out loud) the password. Fill in the network name and password, and whoever scans it connects instantly — great for an office, store, clinic, or short-term rental.

Tips

  • Always test-scan the QR Code with a phone before printing or publishing it.
  • For physical print (business card, banner, packaging), download the SVG — the vector stays crisp at any size, unlike PNG.
  • Leave some quiet margin around the QR Code and avoid low-contrast backgrounds — camera scanners struggle with QR Codes that are too small or cramped.
  • For guest Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi mode saves you from reading the password out loud or writing it on paper — just scan and connect.
  • In the WhatsApp mode, use the message field to add context (e.g. "I came from the menu" or "I came from store X") — it helps you tell where each new contact came from.
  • Printing a QR Code for an offline campaign (flyer, packaging, storefront)? Tag the link first with our UTM Builder so you can measure exactly how many scans it gets in Google Analytics.
